Overview
Utah State University is currently seeking candidates for an Account Executive in Ticket Sales and Service (Sales Representative).
The position reports to the Director of Ticket Operations.
Responsibilities
- Sell football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, women’s soccer, and softball tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and other event related products
- Call current and past customers and cold-call new sales leads to generate sales
- Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, make in-person appointments, and attend networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans, and group ticket plans
- Work some home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game
- Provide excellent customer service to build relationships for repeat business
- Recognize future sales opportunities
- Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers
- Pursue prospective customers
- Manage multiple relationships well
- Build rapport with customers and prospects
- Provide superior customer service to clients throughout the season
- Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals that are established by management
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
- Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
- Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
- Maintain a flexible work schedule
Preferred Qualifications :
- 2 years' experience in ticket sales
- Bachelor's Degree
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
- Have a friendly and professional telephone manner
- Display an outstanding ability to listen well
- Work well in a team environment
- Independently take action beyond what is called for
- Be able to generate original and imaginative solutions to business opportunities
- Demonstrate a positive attitude
