Allegiance Staffing is looking for safe and responsible Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operators to join one of Jeffersonville's best employers.
This position requires the safe operation of powered industrial trucks throughout the facility. The Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator will be responsible for transporting goods, storing, and retrieving products within the warehouse.
Candidates should have at least six months of experience operating reach trucks or cherry pickers and a strong commitment to safety.
Job Summary :
The Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator will operate powered industrial equipment to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
Responsibilities include loading, unloading, storing, and stacking materials, as well as ensuring proper documentation, product rotation, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Safely operate powered industrial equipment, including reach trucks, cherry pickers, forklifts, walkie riders, and clamp trucks.
- Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operators will load, unload, store, and retrieve products from designated areas.
- Transport and stack materials and products as required.
- Use equipment to scan products, print labels, and manage inventory.
- Complete paperwork and use inventory management systems to track product movement.
- Ensure proper product rotation and follow all standard operating procedures.
- Perform daily safety inspections of equipment according to the Safety Checklist.
- Maintain the facility in inspection-ready condition for SQFI, FDA, and customer audits.
- Report any incidents or safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist with housekeeping duties and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of six months of experience as a Reach Truck / Cherry Picker Operator in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management and label printing.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
- Excellent attendance record required.
Compensation and Work Schedule :
- Pay Rate : $22.50 per hour + overtime
- Shift : Weekend shifts (12-hour shifts)
- Location : Jeffersonville, IN
- Attendance : Excellent attendance required.
