APPLICATIONSENGINEER Northeast Territory (Permanent)
Ourclient an international manufacturing company with US headquartersin WNY is looking to hire an Applications Engineer to join theirgrowing team.
Thisposition is based at USA Headquarters in the Buffalo NYarea.
Responsibilities :
- Workvery close with the Regional Sales Manager of your territory andregularly correspond with customers; make visits to customersites
- Becomea product & system expert to be able to providethe best solutions to fit customer needs and how theproduct / systems are applied;
educate internal and external teammembers
- Listento customers needs / wants determine customer needs on a projectunderstand customersbudgets
- Conductrootcauseanalysis for complex issues and provide educatedthoughtoutrecommendations
- Provideclear and concise instructions for solutions to issues as theyarise
- Developand maintain internal and external relationships to drive businessand ensure positiveexperiences
- Preparequotes for customers ensuring adherence to their specifications andbudgets
- Trainstaff and customers in product information and provide technicalsupport whennecessary
- Collaboratewith various team members to develop White Papers for installationand maintenanceguidelines
- Actas an owner of these papers and processes providing technicalsupport asneeded
- Workwell in a team environment as well asindependently
- Completespecial projects in a timelymanner
- Otherduties as assigned / asnecessary
Details :
- Positionis full time direct hire; based out of US headquarters in BuffaloNYarea
- ValidDriver sLicense
- Upto 30% possibletravel
- Territoryavailable :
- Northeast( NewYork Vermont New Hampshire Maine Massachusetts Rhode IslandConnecticut)
- Abilityto travel to Canada ifnecessary
- Whennot traveling will beinoffice
- Flexiblehours (i.e. 7 : 00am4 : 00pm 8 : 00am5 : 00pm 9 : 00am6 : 00pm); standard40hour work week with minimalovertime
- $80000$120000 annually depending onexperience
- Bachelors degree in MechanicalEngineering
- Understandingof hydronic principles thermodynamics pumps plumbing systems HVACfire suppression systemsetc.
- 12years relative experience in an industrialenvironment
- Strongorganizational and time managementskills Excellentassessment skills ability to understand customers needs / wantssolution provider problemsolver
- Strongcommunication and presentationskills
- Strongtechnicalskills
