JOB DESCRIPTION : HR Director

REPORTS TO : COO and CEO

JOB STATUS : Full-Time

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Complete and submit wage / UI claims
  • Complete all employment terminations
  • File initial injury reports / worker's compensation
  • Update and send out company policies reminders with policy updates
  • Program relicensing and compliance
  • Complete all necessary legal documents and claim forms
  • Manage employee benefits
  • Manage all broker relations (401k, liability insurance, file management, payroll, office supplies, hotel, and recreation center)
  • Complete and update HR Operations Manual
  • Manage paperless filing system
  • HR quarterly meetings with directors
  • Implement paperless forms
  • HR Director to all Telos companies
  • HR Director to Bridgeway Billing
  • Attend all Leadership team meetings for all campuses
  • Retention Committee chair
  • Investigate and resolve student grievances
  • Provide coaching to supervisory staff on disciplinary actions
  • Supervise all HR department employees and South Campus Executive Assistant
  • Complete Onboarding process for all new hires
  • Plan company events, employee appreciation and recognition
  • Announce new hires to the company
  • Coordinate trainers and manage monthly Direct Care Training for all new hires
  • Proactively forecast hiring needs with Directors and Supervisors in each department
  • Process initial background checks and renewals
  • Complete I-9, E-Verify and submit New Hire reporting
  • Conduct official offers, salary negotiations, and responsible for drafting formal offer letters for professional staff
  • Provide oversight for all HR activities
  • Manage pay raises and eligibility
  • Manage Direct Care Training through communicating dates company wide, coordinating with trainers, and sending reminder emails to new employees
  • Present Telos Boundaries Policy in each Direct Care Training
  • Manage HR department messages and voicemails
