Seeking a hands-on Spanish speaking HR Generalist to work with all VP levels down to the plant floor direct workforce. Actively support the values and advance the company culture of collaboration, team orientation, and team play!
OPPORTUNITY Report to AVP - HR and interface with all operating, plant and admin departments with responsibility for HR Generalist functions with an emphasis on recruiting, onboarding, 401K / benefits, FMLA, worker’s compensation, employee events / parties inhouse luncheons, developing and administering policies relating to all phases of human resources.
Responsibilities as follows :
- Administer company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and practices in accordance with stated corporate objectives, federal and state legal requirements.
- Promote positive employee relations through design, communication, and interpretation of HR policies and programs. Analyze data, prepare reports, and make recommendations on a variety of human resources issues.
- Perform all staffing duties. Identify vacancies recruit, interview and select applicants. Assist in conducting new employee orientation / onboarding.
- Coordinate employee-relations activities and programs including but not limited to employee counseling, interpretation of policies, new employee orientation, and employee recognition programs.
- Review employee relation’s issues and recommend appropriate responses to management.
- Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of plant employees; actively work to promote and recognize performance.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and help to resolve work-related inquiries.
Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates.
- Conduct investigations on all employee relation issues.
- Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, and opportunities for promotion and employee benefits.
REQUIREMENTS
BS or BA Business Administration or equivalent number of 3+ years of HR experience related experience.
SPANISH SPEAKING IS A REQUIREMENT No relocation ! ON-SITE 100%. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency required. READY TO HIRE!
REWARD
$70,000 to $90,000 (depending on experience) plus bonus, excellent benefits (Free medical, dental and other insurances, excellent 401k match).
