JOB DESCRIPTION As a vital sales and business development professional within Covenant Care Home Health and Hospice the Account Manager is responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with new and existing referral partners, key designated Covenant Living communities, and for providing education and support on topics pertaining to home and community-based services and care (hospice).

Role will support and drive business development and positive sales outcomes to meet or exceed established sales goals for designated product line.

Respectfully and tactfully interacts daily with clients, families, professional referral partners and co-workers, and maintains a positive customer service relationship practicing honesty and integrity in all aspects of role.

Works in conjunction with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure positive course of communication between client, family, caregivers, facility, physician and clinical teams, and other hospice or home health support vendors.

Coordinates daily sales activities and documents sales activity in Covenant Living approved CRM sales application, employs marketing and promotional initiatives to target and exceed sales goals.

Responds timely to inbound referrals received from professional or marketing generated entities. Ensures all necessary and required documentation is received, reviewed and routed to proper stakeholders, (clinical, intake etc.

to make proper determination for acceptance to care.

Assist with coordinating and scheduling marketing events, vendor fairs, exhibits within market space. Assists with identifying areas of opportunity to improve service delivery or address customer needs.

Role will work on-call (afterhours and weekend) rotation as directed by manager.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE :

Required Degree : Associates or bachelor’s degree in marketing,

business administration, sales, healthcare or related field.

Experience :

Experience within the senior care, homecare, and community-based services profession preferred.

Experience in sales, marketing or business development roles preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY :

Knowledge of home and community-based services (home health, hospice preferred)

Knowledge of Medicare, Managed Care, Medicaid, and other payor plans.

Ability to position services and deal tactfully with customers and clients.

Have excellent communication, negotiation, time management, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Must have excellent demonstrated customer service skills.

Must maintain a high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the job.

Ability to work some evenings and weekends or on-call rotation.

Experience utilizing CRM sales software, Microsoft suite of technology preferred.

Valid drivers license in state of operation and use of own transportation with the ability to travel to multiple locations and accounts within market space required.
