- Program and optimize CNC machining operations using Mastercam and PartMaker software for turning, live milling, and Swiss-type machining processes.
- Develop and maintain CNC programs for HAAS turning equipment, ensuring precise adherence to tolerances as tight as + / - 0.0005".
- Collaborate closely with the machining team to understand project requirements, interpret engineering drawings, and translate them into efficient CNC programs.
- Perform setup, troubleshooting, and optimization of CNC machines, including the Citizen L20 VIII Swiss-type lathe, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Continuously improve programming techniques and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC technology and software.
- Maintain accurate documentation and revision control of CNC programs and related files.
- Provide training and support to machine operators and other team members as needed.
