Job Description
What You will do
- Perform the installation of fire protection piping, valves, and accessories for commercial and industrial applications.
- Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and / or job requirements.
- Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
- Supervising the apprentices.
How you will do
- As a sprinkler installer, you will efficiently and accurately perform the installation of wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge sprinkler systems.
- You will maintain accurate documentation for work performed and must adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Be able to receive verbal and written instructions as well as provide verbal and written instructions to apprentices.
- Carry / move equipment and tools weighing up to 70lbs.
- Capable of performing physical labor; perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and high lift equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Have a positive demeanor and the ability to adapt quickly.
What we look for
Required
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- In possession of or be able to acquire Denver Sprinkler License
- Able to read blueprints and diagrams.
- Self-starter, working with little or no supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and a positive demeanor
- Capable of performing physical labor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well with others.
