Position Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and support our sales team with integrity and genuine sincerity. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

As a Sales Manager, you will oversee the Account Manager team focused on increasing quoting conversion and the Territory Manager team aimed at new customer acquisition and growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Direct oversight of : Territory Managers and Account Managers

  • Strategic Sales Planning (10%) :
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet revenue goals.
  • Analyze market trends and customer needs to inform strategies.
  • Lead execution using Traction / EOS and the Four Disciplines of Execution (4DX) to align sales goals.
  • Client Relationship Management (20%) :
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Travel to customer locations and attend industry trade shows to maximize sales and relationships.
  • Regularly connect with customers to cultivate and grow business.
  • Team Leadership (30%) :
  • Mentor and manage the Account Managers team, providing guidance to drive performance.
  • Establish and enforce sales processes and policies to ensure consistent performance.
  • Monitor and appraise team performance, offering coaching to maximize results.
  • Sales Innovation (10%) :
  • Develop innovative sales techniques and processes to enhance team effectiveness.
  • Maintain awareness of market dynamics and manage overlapping customer bases.
  • Identify and implement new technologies to optimize sales processes.
  • Reporting and Analysis (10%) :
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to the executive team.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance to ensure sales forecasts align with budgetary goals.

  • Experience :
  • Leadership or management experience in a sales environment.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinking and adaptability to changing market trends.
