Position Summary :

At the core of this role is the ability to create exceptional designs by leveraging 2020 and other design platforms. The Designer will translate customer specifications and visions derived from cabinet layouts, blueprints, interior design specifications, builder plans, and other customer submissions into formal designs.

The Designer shall use their knowledge, experience, and customer input to meet the project’s functional and aesthetic goals.

• Proficient in 2020 and Pro Kitchen design software, with the ability to adapt to other platforms as needed.
• Familiarity with Canyon Creek’s 2020 catalogs, or the ability to quickly adapt to and utilize Canyon Creek’s nomenclature via the catalog and spec book.
• Plays a key role in onboarding new customers by exercising patience and providing education on Canyon Creek’s design processes, product lines, and specifications, ensuring a smooth and informed transition.
• Serves as a resource for new customers, ensuring they are well-educated on Canyon Creek’s design capabilities and workflows, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
• Strong knowledge and experience in designing residential kitchens, bathrooms, and ancillary rooms, adhering to NKBA standards and industry best practices.
• Capable of providing design services for dealers, contractors, and employees, ensuring adherence to Canyon Creek’s standardized design process and output standards.
• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, precise designs with superior attention to detail.
• Leverages fashion and design expertise to support creative and aesthetically appealing design recommendations.
• Stays actively informed and engaged with the latest consumer preferences and industry design trends.
• Collaborates with sales associates and customers throughout the design process, facilitating reviews, revisions, and final approval.

Compensation / Benefits :

• Compensation range of $35.00 - $42.00 DOE, Non Exempt Status, depending on education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities
