What You Will Do

As an Accounting Professional, you'll play a vital role in supporting the O&PS Business Sector accounting team, ensuring precise and accurate accounting throughout the month and especially at month-end.

Drive process improvements, enhance system controls, and provide valuable analysis and support to Finance and Business Operations.

Be a valued member of a global, diverse team, and a trusted advisor to the Sector Senior Business Accounting Director, influencing key financial decisions.

Expand your financial systems knowledge, boost team productivity, and benefit from continuous learning and career advancement opportunities at Trimble.

Ensure monthly closing duties are performed by their deadlines, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and producing and distributing reports.

Have a strong background with Revenue Recognition ASC-606.

Reviews and conducts analysis, reports on discrepancies, and assists with the corrections of the monthly financial statements to ensure the correct statement of financial position.

Performs and conducts analysis of balance sheet and other account reconciliations and supporting schedules, reports on discrepancies and assists in monthly account resolutions.

Responsible for the accurate and timely recording of corporate accounting transactions.

Assist with complex accounting items such as revenue recognition, deferred revenue and unbilled.

Engage in digital transformation initiatives, contributing to testing, analysis, and post-implementation activities.

Leverage AI and systems automation to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting processes, setting new standards for operational excellence.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

A BS / BA in accounting or related field.

A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.

Proficiency with ERPs and other systems such as Oracle, Netsuite, Salesforce

Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets.

A solid understanding of GAAP.
