Position Summary : The Business Development Specialist is primarily responsible for planning, executing, cultivating, and monitoring new business accounts.
In addition, you will manage the goals, activities, and functions for Sales & Service in designated territories and be responsible for new client marketing;
Service established client accounts when necessary.
Job Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement territory goals and procedures for JMJ clients
- Determine staffing and operational needs for the Sales & Service division
- Generate a daily territory plan of action and visit businesses to introduce our organization
- Source and qualify clients and potential decision makers
- Plan, direct, and investigate business opportunities with potential and current clients
- Establish client and department profiles and analyze client markup and pay rates
- Obtain new orders and bring valuable account information to the Director & TAM
- Ensure necessary paperwork is saved in M drive and Safety Evals are completed and approved
- Maintain detailed documentation of all client and prospect calls
- Establish and maintain effective communication throughout the organization
- Represent JMJ Talent Solutions with clients, business partners, and the community
- Achieve annual sales goals and monitor day-to-day operations to ensure goals are being met
- Monitor division goals and take action to correct unsatisfactory results
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years of B2B sales experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required if on-the-job experience relates to the staffing industry
- Proven history of meeting / exceeding sales quota and objectives
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Valid driver's license required
