Job Summary
In charge of the daily operations in CT. Performs all aspects of computer tomography procedures. Responsible for scheduling of patients for invasive exams, maintenance of equipment.
Works under the direction of Manager of Imaging Operations / IP. Adheres to established procedures. Maintains CT staff scheduling appropriately.
Ensures work performance of staff. Orders supplies and ensure supply stock is at appropriate level. Must be able to transfer patients, may require light to medium lifting.
Access and utilize the hospital and radiology information systems including PACS. Schedule flexibility with the possibility of being on-call.
Must be able to be contacted by phone for departmental issues when not on call.
Position Qualification : (Training, Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities)
- HS graduate or equivalent.
- 5 Years Preferred CT experience with strong leadership & communication skills.
- Previous hospital experience in CT required.
- Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology program.
- Training in AMA approved school and meets requirements for registry by the ARRT.
- Must be self-motivated once job skills are learned and is able to work with minimal supervision.
- Computer skills with knowledge of HIS, RIS and PACS systems.

Ability to effectively communicate in writing and orally with all levels of the organization
