The Restaurant Shift Manager is responsible for overseeing all fine-dining front-of-house operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager, ensuring an exceptional upscale dining experience for our casino patrons.
Key responsibilities include :
Leadership & Supervision : Assist with administrative tasks, handle interviews, select new hires, and manage the training and development of new staff.
Delegate work as needed and ensure the team performs at the highest standards.
Quality Assurance : Maintain the highest standards of food quality in our fine-dining restaurant and deli establishments, ensuring compliance with all established policies and procedures.
Monitor food temperatures and make menu recommendations and offerings to enhance the dining experience.
Guest Service : Provide superior guest service, assisting guests with any dining inquiries and ensuring their satisfaction.
Handle Food Server, Hostess, and Busser duties as needed to maintain seamless operations.
Reporting & Administration : Prepare daily reports as directed and perform other job-related duties as assigned by the department manager.

Education :
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
Experience & Requirements :
- Must have a minimum of two years management experience working in a high-volume restaurant environment
- Must have knowledge in all aspects of front and back of the house operations
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Must have experience with computers and POS systems
- Must be able to demonstrate superior guest service
Physical Requirements :
- Must have the mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
- Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Must have good manual and finger dexterity
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements :
Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIA license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
