What Will You Do?

The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for providing Employee Relations (ER) support to managers and team members including administering employment policies and practices, researching and / or investigating team member concerns, and making recommendations that effectively promote positive employee relations.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Conflict Resolution : Addressing workplace conflicts, disputes, and grievances by investigating issues, mediating discussions, and finding resolutions that align with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Investigations : Conducting investigations into claims of harassment, discrimination, or other misconduct, maintaining confidentiality and impartiality throughout the process.
  • Training and Education : Delivering training programs for managers and employees on topics related to employee relations, conflict resolution, and company policies.
  • Data Analysis : Analyzing employee relations trends and data to identify areas for improvement, proactively addressing potential issues, and recommending strategies for enhancing employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaboration : Working closely with HR teams, management, legal counsel, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in employee relations practices and policies.
  • Documentation : Maintaining accurate records of investigations, complaints, and resolutions while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations.
  • Advisory Role : Providing guidance to managers and supervisors on employee-related matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
  • Employee Engagement : Implementing strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and a positive workplace culture.
  • Policy Development : Draft clear and comprehensive organizational policies. Involves research relevant regulations and collaboration with stakeholders.

What Do You Need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years Human Resources experience, such as HR Generalist / HR Business Partner is required.
  • Professional Human Resource Certification, preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of state and federal employment laws, safety practices and procedures, and employee relations principles
  • A positive can-do attitude!

Compensation : Annual Salary $66,560 - $82,251. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.

Profit sharing is available to eligible employees; this discretionary program is dependent on the profitability of the company.

Benefits : When you join our family, you are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits programs which includes Health, Dental, Vision, Life / Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, 401(k), Paid Holidays, 80 hours paid vacation and 40 hours of California Paid Sick Leave.
