Job Description Summary

Design and deploy marketing technology resources to optimize automated marketing campaigns, material distribution, agency / vendor management, platform use, tracking, reporting and analytics.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Direct the activities of one or more departments with a focus on strategy implementation and goal setting. The current areas reporting into this role include a team focused on our enterprise email campaign SaaS solution, Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC), and our sales enablement SaaS platform, Seismic.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior managers and managers to lead department activities and initiatives.
  • Work with senior leadership on Marketing strategy and technology solutions to ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Focus on the identification, development and implementation of new technologies and programs.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with cross-functional management, clients, Information Technology, outside vendors and consultants.
  • Manage project budgets.
  • Manage department resources in accordance with project requirements.
  • Direct oversight of our Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) instance including Contact Management, Super Message budgeting, adherence to privacy laws (ex : CCPA), ability to build and advocate for complex journeys, and a deep understanding of segmentation and B2B go to market campaigns.
  • Direct oversight of our sales enablement platform, Seismic, including training users, user adoption, creation of blast email templates, curation of available content, and consulting users on best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, marketing or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ten years of marketing experience, with a focus on technology solutions.
  • Five years of management experience.
  • Broad experience and expert understanding of marketing technology software and platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Google Analytics, Adobe, Google Cloud Platform, CRM and Marketing Cloud).
  • Understanding of Agile development processes / methodologies.
  • Understanding of Big Data and application to reporting, processes and system integrations.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, negotiation, analytical and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent written / oral communication and relationship building skills to influence stakeholders.
  • Outstanding project management skills to manage large, complex projects across multiple teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Financial services industry experience (retirement, employee benefits, life insurance, investments).
  • Prior experience with SFMC strongly preferred. Experience with other similar enterprise grade tools (Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua, etc.

acceptable for those willing to learn SFMC.

Prior experience with Seismic’s sales enablement SaaS platform strongly preferred. Experience with other SaaS sales enablement platforms may also be considered.

Office environment : hybrid or remote location.

Compensation

Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws.

It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $142,000 - $155,000 annually. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs.

Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan / Individual Performance and is at the Company’s discretion.
