Job ID : 24-03210 Credentialing Coordinator Baltimore, Maryland MUST : Experienced Credentialing Coordinator 1 plus years of experience as a Credentialing Coordinator Must have experience with provider credentialing Must have provider enrollment experience Must have strong excel experience Maryland Medicaid ePREP experience highly preferred DUTIES : Credentialing Coordinator will be responsible for, but not limited to the following : Performs timely Medicare and Medicaid credentialing for new providers Performs timely Medicare and Medicaid revalidations for existing providers Submits requests to have new providers and provider numbers Routine follow up with payers regarding provider credentialing status Maintains an up to date spreadsheet regarding all outstanding credentialing items Constant communication with Practice Operations Management Team regarding credentialing status and roadblocks Ensures appropriate follow up with departments and / or payers regarding outstanding items Constant communication with department contacts to obtain required necessary credentialing documents.
