Harris is currently looking for an organized, detailed-oriented Project Accountant to work a hybrid work schedule based out of our Concord, Sacramento, or Irvine office.
The Project Accountant will participate in the ownership of the project life cycle that includes, but is not limited to : project setup, subconsultant entry and tracking, entering and updating budgets, invoice creation and receipt of payment.

Enjoys working on various projects that require keen attention to detail Has the ability to communicate effectively amongst a diverse group of collaborators Essential Project Accountant Duties and Responsibilities : Budget and Revenue Analysis Project Metrics Reporting Preparing Data for Analysis at Project Review Meetings Review, Process, Prepare and submit monthly project invoices to clients for both T&M and Lump Sum projects Review, Process, and Pay subconsultant / vendor invoices Manage and maintain project records, including but not limited to, setting up new projects / amendments in Deltek Vantagepoint based on contractual requirements Reviewing AR and assist Project Management team with collection on unpaid invoices Collaborate with Project Management on all project / finance needs and serve as resource for the Project Accountant team Other as finance / accounting related projects as needed Qualifications & Skills Minimum 5 years of related work experience in Finance or Accounting Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or other related fields Deltek Vantagepoint experience preferred, but not required Possess an analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate situations and make informed decisions that may impact projects financially Skilled in working with diverse stakeholders to meet the requirements of contracts and projects Must be a team-player with a positive attitude Excellent verbal and written communication skills Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is between $75,000-$95,000 which will be determined based off experience level.
