- Cultivate and maintain customer relationships by engaging with key decision makers across various departments within organizations, such as purchasing, engineering, management, manufacturing, scheduling / logistics, and quality.
- Travel within designated territories to visit, nurture, and expand relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Effectively communicate with current and prospective customers via emails, texts, phone calls, and virtual meetings to foster relationships, advocate products, secure new business opportunities, and resolve outstanding issues.
- Proactively conduct regular strategic account reviews with assigned customers to align service or product offerings with their business objectives.
- Compile lists of potential customers for sales leads, initiate cold calls, and contact these prospects to meet business objectives.
- Promote products using samples, catalogs, flyers / brochures, PowerPoint presentations, and support from team members as needed.
- Provide technical support and information on engineered product solutions for customer applications.
- Prepare and submit timely call reports and expense reports.
- Coordinate with inside sales team members to ensure accurate account activities and updated literature.
- Adhere to company policies, guidelines, processes, work instructions, and procedures.
- Demonstrate behavioral competencies and essential skills to achieve company goals and expectations effectively.
