During a Typical Day, You’ll
- Plan, develop, organize, write, and edit policies, procedures, and audit / compliance documentation for both internal / external audiences.
- Maintain library of documentation to support various projects and departments.
- Support enterprise, commercial, federal, government, and public sector programs (prior experience with FedRAMP, NIST or MARS-E is a plus), as needed.
- Review, edit, and analyze documents (including reports and communications) to maintain continuity of style and content.
- Manage updates and revisions to documents, annually, as well as associated stakeholder notifications and communications.
- Handle documentation related research and provision requests.
What You Bring to the Role
- Bachelor's degree or certificate in technical writing / communication preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite required, proficiency with Visio and SharePoint highly desired.
- General knowledge and experience with information security / technology related functions, tools, concepts, and applications preferred.
- Minimum 2 years work experience writing documentation or communications preferred.
- Extremely strong attention to detail in terms of style, grammar, form, consistency, etc.
- Ability to manage libraries / projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiences.
- Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking.
- Professional level written, and high-level verbal, communication skills are required; the position requires regular interaction with managers and subject matter experts throughout the organization, including senior / executive level stakeholders.
- Submission of two (2) writing samples (at least one of which must be in a procedural / explanatory format).
- Take an in-person writing / editing test during the interview process.

The anticipated range is $90,000 - $95,000 USD. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and / or skill levels.
