DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • With limited direction, this position is responsible for performing contract and / or procurement analysis to ensure compliance to regulations, contractual requirements and Company policy.
  • Performs Procurement and Subcontract File Reviews across all dollar levels and contract types. Communicates findings and deficiencies to the Buyer or Subcontract Administrator in a way that fosters teamwork.
  • Analyzes data and situations and develops solutions to complex problems; influences and guides on actions to be taken.
  • Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends and recommend areas for process improvement; may develop new standards or techniques as required;

develops appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records.

  • Contributes to the development, implementation and audit policies, procedures and associated documentation.
  • Maintains awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance with appropriate statutes, regulations and Company practices.
  • Represent the organization as a consultant to management and external spokesperson for the organization.
  • May make internal or external presentations as required.
  • Provides direction, leadership and training to support and less experienced professional and technical staff
  • May participate in the selection, development and training of staff.
  • Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.
  • Supports Government (Prime End Customer, DCMA, and DCAA) Audits.
  • Develops and updates procurement policy and procedures to ensure that the company’s practices are in compliance with Government and Public Law Requirements while maintaining an efficient procurement system.
  • Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
