German Light Products GmbH is hiring : Marketing Coordinator in California

GLP German Light Products based in Van Nuys, California is looking for someone to join the company in the role of Marketing Coordinator. This position can be based out of our Van Nuys, California office or can be remote.

Organizational Placement

The Marketing Coordinator reports to the Sales and Marketing Director.

The Marketing Coordinator also has direct communication with the various operational departments of GLP US, including sales, financial and logistics for practical working methods.

Areas of Responsibility

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the marketing efforts of all GLP US Inc. brands and products, including GLP, Fusion, and Nexus Lights.

Tasks

• Oversee all marketing campaigns for the brand in the North and South American markets
• Brainstorm ideas for new campaigns
• Coordinate with the sales team and other departments to produce effective strategies
• Work with partner marketing teams, supporting their marketing efforts and come up with new ideas to improve brand marketing and exposure
• Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from idealization to execution
• Continuously explore new marketing channels and opportunities through technology and media
• Distribution of press releases to industry media, and following up to ensure the widest possible relevant coverage for the company
• Assist in the sourcing of news stories for company and project PR purposes, and the creation of PR content
• Assist in creating copy for advertising needs
• Assist in the design and layout process of company advertising
• Coordinating with industry media where we advertise in regard to the placement of relevant advertising
• Growing and maintaining company contact database
• Assisting in the preparation and execution of company events, including exhibitions, open days, road shows and similar
• Responsibility for GLP USs website, its design and content, ensuring that it is current and relevant
• Attend relevant company events and tradeshows
• Management of customer giveaways production and stock
• Coordinate with international colleagues in German HQ and other global subsidiaries
