Mental / Behavioral Health Technician (MHT / BHT) Opportunities

Full-time positions only (no part-time positions). No experience necessary! Full paid training program will be provided.

Swing Shifts : Swing A : Full Time Sun, Mon, Tues, Sat (rotating Wed) 2 : 45p - 11 : 00p OR Swing B : Full Time Sun, Thurs, Fri, Sat (rotating Wed) 2 : 45p - 11 : 00p OR Full Time Day Shift : Mon - Fri (7 : 00am - 3 : 00pm) or Full Time Grave Shift : Fri - Sun 10p - 9a OR Mon - Thurs 10 : 45p-8 : 45a

Salary : $16.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on day and shift ( rate includes shift differentials )

Your position objectives include :

• You will serve as a positive role model for students while providing close supervision and documenting your observations.
• You must be a team player and recognize the importance of this position to positive student outcomes.
• You will support that students are meeting defined daily goals, including hygiene, unit activities, education & therapy meetings.
• You will confidently intervene during student crisis by using verbal de-escalation skills and other personal safety techniques that you will be trained in.
• You will use positive verbal skills and coaching to educate students on appropriate behavior and possible outcomes.

Qualifications

Your Qualifications will include :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be a minimum 21 years of age
• Conflict resolution skills, resiliency and patience
• Ability to pass criminal history background check and drug screen
