Job Overview
The incumbent performs the role and responsibilities of the Equipment Control Officer (ECO) as described in Air Force Manual (AFMAN) 17-1203, IAW guidance and procedures for Air Force Service Provider employees.

Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Manages and tracks Government-owned and leased computer systems equipment in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) module of the Air Force Equipment Management System (AFEMS).
- Performs all work necessary to comply with applicable AF and DoD regulations and reporting requirements relating to inventory, redistribution, and disposal of that equipment.
- Manages the software life-cycle plan and refreshment program of currently supported software and configurations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Mandatory :
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to acquire and maintain government identification / common access card.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Valid Alabama state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
- Ability to successfully pass any background checks and / or drug testing required on the contract.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
