Overview :
Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention.
Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- Required Education : High School Diploma- 18 years of age or older
- Preferred Education : College degree
- Certifications / Licensures : Valid State drivers license- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety / Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire) Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety / Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure) Officers in areas where there isn't a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic.
- Other : Ability to read and write the English language
