General Summary of Duties
The Recruiter Per Diem is responsible for sourcing, recruiting and placing USA-domestic clinical perm staff for HCA and non-HCA facilities across the assigned division.
The recruiter will build a pool of passive and active candidates for HCA facilities through referrals from the sourcing team as well as through other recruitment sources they have identified.
Recruitment of candidates is conducted in an efficient, time-sensitive, productive, and cost-effective manner in coordination with the efforts of the Directors of Recruitment and On-site as well as the On-Site Recruiters.
The recruiter will provide information to candidates concerning the position requirements, client hospital attributes, and community offerings.

Responsibilities
- Build a pool of passive and active candidates for HCA facilities through referrals from the sourcing team and other recruitment sources.
- In conjunction with the Director of Recruitment and the Director On-Site, prepare recruitment strategy.
- Effectively utilize existing recruitment resources and develop new sources and contacts.
- Manage the recruitment and placement process for perm openings including : identifying and screening candidates to match position requirements, submitting candidates to hiring manager, arranging interviews, and following up for feedback.
- Utilize effective interviewing techniques to ensure fit for the position, considering both clinical and behavioral aspects.
- Sell candidates on the merits of employment with HCA / HealthTrust.
- Provide ongoing status updates to the facility regarding open job orders.
- Maintain communication with applicants to keep them active within the HealthTrust System.
- Maintain and enter applicant information in the applicant tracking system.
- Refer candidates to other positions or divisions as appropriate.
- Negotiate salary, close deals, and verify start dates.
- Other duties as assigned.

Benefits
Estimated Salary : $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
