General Overview
The Staff Accountant will perform revenue account reconciliations, cash receipt posting, process vendor and seller payments, assist in month end financial close, and help in other daily finance operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile customer funds related accounts
- Process incoming wires daily
- Process customer deposit refunds
- Conduct monthly revenue, bank accounts reconciliations, and balance sheet accounts reconciliations
- Timely respond to internal inquiries and external requests
- Prepare certain internal reports as assigned
- Research the discrepancies from the reconciliation and propose the correcting entries
- Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and reconciling accounts
- Maintains and balances legacy system with Oracle ERP system
- Prepare journal entries and accruals, assist in monthly, quarterly and year end close procedures
- Perform other finance operational duties and / or ad-hoc tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting or finance or equivalent
- 2-3 years Staff Accountant experience required
- Public accounting experience a plus
- Oracle ERP system experience a plus
Skills :
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills; both written and oral
- Advanced skills in MS Excel
Ability :
- Excellent attention to detail
- Time Management Skills
- Detail Oriented
- Ability to work independently

The position is fully remote. The ideal candidate must have home office space and access to high-speed internet and reside in the US.
