As a lead welder / fabricator, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process and help build an amazing team.
Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
- Select appropriate welding techniques and materials
- Perform welding operations using MIG, TIG, and Stick welding techniques
- Set up and operate welding equipment
- Monitor the welding process and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Inspect finished products for quality control
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Qualifications
- Strong welding skills
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Experience with various welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related field is a plus
- Knowledge of welding techniques and safety protocols is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Must be able to pass welding test
