$100M / YR heavy civil contractor, has an immediate need for a Chief Financial Officer. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing all of the company's financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Complete Company Financial and Accounting planning and oversight.
- Develop plans to increase company profit while reducing expenditure.
- Assist the CEO in developing financial plans
- Oversee all accounting procedures
- Managing employees this position will have 5 direct reports, including a Controller.
- Financing and accounting for a large equipment fleet.
- Maintaining strong banking relationships and cash flow.
Requirements :
- Must have experience with percentage of completion, cash flow management, and general ledger for a self performing construction GC, contractor, or sub-contractor.
- Experience working for a Heavy Civil Contractor is preferred but not required .
- Experience working through economic downturns, inflationary periods, etc... is required.
- You must have a 4-year accounting or business degree.
- Prefer someone local to the Auburn, AL area but will pay reasonable relocation expenses for the right candidate.
Compensation :
$175K - $225K plus a full benefits package.
