The Senior Accountant will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for AD's Canadian business entity.
This position will be responsible for various accounting tasks including monthly journal entries, managing fixed assets, accounting for the AD Rewards program, invoicing, cash receipts, balance sheet reconciliations, and audit assistance.
This role demands attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
The Senior Accountant will be instrumental in maintaining financial integrity and providing valuable insights to support decision-making processes within the organization.
Primary Responsibilities :
- Create and post journal entries as part of month-end close.
- Maintain fixed assets to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Handle accounting for AD Rewards, including recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Prepare invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Record cash receipts and reconcile accounts accordingly.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations for AD's Canadian business entity and address any discrepancies.
- Record and manage intercompany payables and receivables with Canada.
- Submit Canada GST (Goods and Services Tax) filings in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Review and provide variance explanations for AD's Canadian business entity set of P&Ls to identify and address any anomalies.
- Assist with audit preparations and collaborate with auditors to facilitate smooth audit processes.
- Assist with SAP Concur and AMEX expense reporting as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Proficient in MS Excel (e.g., Vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience with SAP Concur or a similar system is preferred, but not required.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to professional development and staying abreast of industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.
Additional Comments :
- Position is based in Wayne, PA where we have a hybrid work schedule with 3 days in the office (Tuesdays-Thursdays & Mondays and Fridays remote)
- AD Hours of Business are 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
- Approximately 1-2 weeks of travel per year may be required.
