This is a great opportunity for an Senior Accounts Payable Specialist looking to grow their skill set! LHH is working with a well known and well established Non-Profit!
Responsibilities :
Enter invoices in the accounting system, applying invoice lines to open purchase orders
Process employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies
Assist in preparation of payments to third parties, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers
Assist with supplier account review, response to supplier inquiries, and resolution of purchase order, invoice, receiving, and payment discrepancies
Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions (including supporting documentation) and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
Assist with the completion of month-end tasks including preparing the AP aging schedule and closing the Payables subledger
Generate and send accurate and timely invoices to customers, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to contractual agreements
Maintain accurate records of payments received and record in the accounting system
Track and distribute corporate credit cards to employees
Respond to credit card-related inquiries from employees and resolve concerns and issues on time
Assist with other tasks as assigned
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is a plus
Five plus years of experience
Proficient with Excel and prior use of some larger ERP system
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with data entry and record-keeping
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines by prioritizing tasks
