Front of House Manager

hi! we're middle brow. we're a brewery. and winery. and bakery. and pizzary. and bagelerie. and donutry. and ice cremerie. and sheesh. so much else. ... we're a whole damn community. and we're hiring our newest FOH manager.

all FOH managers here run floor service on brunch, lunch and dinner shifts. In addition to that, everyone has an admin day during which they tackle (tickle?) broader projects. dry goods ordering, menu updates, light events management, heavy event management, etc. at the moment, candidates with interest in or history with events are particularly attractive.

we're a big, fun, happy, open-hearted, open-minded community of culinary and hospitality workers. whether we're hosting the international natural wine community in march, the james beard nominees in june, or local legendary musicians every sunday evening, things are bouncy. to say nothing of our annual block party, christmas tree lot, wine harvest, last waltz cover concert, and quarterly cheap dirt wine tastings. ... come fit in! to the loosest joint on any chicago block. we welcome u.

FOH work is also available for candidates who prefer a hybrid server / manager role. managers rarely tend to eclipse 45 hours per week; we find we get the best quality of work with good quality of life.
