Zola is looking for an experienced Manager of Lifecycle Marketing who will be responsible for developing & implementing marketing programs to engage & retain couples throughout their journey with Zola.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned B2C marketer with a track record for building customer-focused, multi-channel campaigns proven to increase retention & LTV.
With an emphasis on our Vendor Marketplace business, they will lead the planning, execution & optimization of multi-channel campaigns & be a strong advocate for Zola couples across their experience.
As a seasoned marketer on the team, they will also be a resource & mentor for more junior team members.
This role is based in NYC, with 2 days a week in office (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own & execute multiple customer marketing programs across email, push, sms & onsite channels that align with business goals & gaps in the customer journey
- Work cross functionally with teams including creative, copy, business, product, data & engineering to solve problems & deliver personalized impactful campaigns
- Develop & implement segmentation strategy, making decisions supported by data to ensure were targeting the right users at the right time
- Build & manage the technical components of campaigns, including html production & dynamic logic, as well as working with partners on tech to request & QA custom events
- Drive testing strategy, crafting strong AB tests, analyzing data, sharing results & proposing next steps
- Deep dive into specific business units within Zola (paper, registry, marketplace, core), monitoring existing lifecycle campaigns & combing through data to discover new opportunities
- Share learnings with marketing & the broader team through presentations & written comms
- Manage third party partnerships; building relationships with Customer Success Managers, & packaging projects for third party contractors
- Help manage the monthly Lifecycle marketing calendar; select the timing of individual campaigns & look with a critical eye at the overarching monthly outreach for different cohorts
- Offer guidance & mentorship to more junior members of the team, helping them grow in their functions & become better retention marketers

- You are a strong public speaker with the ability to craft a story through presentations
- You are a fast learner; picking up new skills & systems with ease
- Startup experience strongly preferred
- Experience with some or all of the following systems is preferred but not required : Sailthru, Looker, Mandrill, Attentive,
- 4-6+ years of professional experience in a fast-paced environment working in CRM, growth, strategy or related field
- BA / BS
The salary range for this position is $95,000-$115,000.
