We are looking for a tire adjustment center temp. This is ideal for someone that has worked in a tire shop and knows tires.
They will be inspecting tires that are being returned due to warranty issues. Someone with great attention to detail is needed.
It’s a Monday -Friday 6 : 00 a.m.-2 : 00 p.m. at $21.00 per hour. We will need to review resumes and interview for this position.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Receives, counts, and verifies incoming returned Company product (tires & wheels)
- Conducts physical inspection and analysis of returned products to ensure adherence with Company warranty policies for approval or denial of warranty claim submissions
- Verifies all paperwork is correctly submitted for claims
- May conduct product testing on Company product including mounting and dismounting of tires to wheels
- Accurately and efficiently stocks new product returns in the warehouse while maintaining cleanliness, order, and safety
- Operates forklift in a safe manner
- Loads / Unloads returned tires and scrap tires
- May operate heavy-duty equipment such as bandsaw and bead breaker
- May assist warehouse with picking orders and putting away of tires and wheels as business conditions demand
- Operates standard office equipment including use of computer keyboard and other systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to shift priorities as business conditions demand
- Safely operates all standard warehouse equipment
- Mounting and dismounting tires
- Occasionally operates bandsaw and bead breaker
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
- High School Diploma / G.E.D. or the equivalent experience
- 3+ years’ experience working in warehouse environment
- Proven customer service skills
- MS Office : Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel
- 2+ years’ forklift experience
