We are seeking a Family Practice Physician interested in working as a Medical Director and providing collaborative oversight for 8 APRNs two days per week for a community-based rural health clinic.
The oversight and chart review responsibilities can be done virtually through their online portal and via Zoom. The Physician would be requested to work 2 days per month on-site as well, but the majority of the work will be managed virtually.
This location is located within a commutable distance to San Antonio. The Physician would receive a base salary of $110,000 per year with associated benefits.
Additional work the physician elects to provide would be paid on an hourly basis and is negotiable. Malpractice is covered under the FTCA (Federal Tort Claims Act) and this FQHC qualifies for loan repayment as well.
