We are looking for a skilled, resourceful, and collaborative Senior Geotechnical Project Manager
to join our client's team in Burlington, Vermont . The Senior Geotechnical Project Manager will work
closely with a team of staff engineers and scientists on challenging and exciting projects largely
in urban environments. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position, with opportunities to be
challenged, contribute to project outcomes, interact routinely with project Principals and clients,
and is designed to support your professional growth.
Essential Functions What You Will Do

Develop new business opportunities.
Manage and grow client relationships.
Prepare proposals and project budgets.
Manage project budgets and prepare invoices.
Manage and supervise staff engineers.
Set technical strategy and oversee production of technical work products.
Plan and coordinate field investigation programs.
Interpret and analyze field and laboratory data.
Coordinate and oversee construction administration for development projects.
Manage preparation of reports, design plans, data tables, specifications, and other
deliverables.
Formulate conclusions, recommendations, and geotechnical strategies for development
projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of ten years relevant experience and a BS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical
Focus) or seven years relevant experience and a MS in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical
Focus).
Possess Professional Engineering Licensure.
Strong attention to detail and understanding of geotechnical engineering.
Experience with geotechnical field work and construction earthwork.
Strong organizational and time management skills combined with the flexibility to work
with shifting priorities.
Desire and affinity for networking and business development.
Awareness and general understanding of environmental considerations (i.e.,
contaminated soil and groundwater management during construction).
Client-service orientation with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver to meet
expectations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work well as a team member, with a collaborative communication style.
