Receptionist Job Responsibilities :
- Saturday and Sunday; 9am - 5pm; flexibility to occasionally work weekdays
- Greeting members
- Monitor front desk
- Managing inbound and outbound calls
- Handling queries via phone, email and general correspondence
- Transferring calls as necessary
- Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member in time
- Handling transcription, printing, photocopying and faxing
- Coordinating internal and external events
- Managing office inventory such as stationery and equipment
- Maintaining safety and hygiene standards of the reception area
In addition :
Performs administrative and marketing support tasks, which includes but is not limited to :
- Inputting dining reservations
- Assisting as hostess when needed
- Assisting with member events (collecting RSVPS, event prep, event execution, event clean up, etc.)
- Assisting with creating and distributing member communications
- Compile information for and assemble newsletters
- Assist with managing graphic templates and using as appropriate, strongly desired
Receptionist Qualifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- High level of professionalism and courtesy
- Excellent time-management skills
- Works well with others and can multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software
- Experience with Canva, strongly desired
- Experience with email software systems; Constant Content or Mail Chip, preferred
- Great attention to detail
