2J Supply is a - GROWING - Wholesale Distributor of Heating & A / C (HVAC) products. Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio, with 11 Branches located in Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Indiana.

Reporting to the President, with leadership responsibility for 11 Branch locations, this role focuses on :

Customer Experience

• Establish and lead a culture emphasized on Customer Service.
• Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Manager to identify operational capacity, potential sales opportunities and improving our cost to serve.

Employee Experience

• Identify current and future talent needs and development opportunities.
• Provide clear expectations and visible leadership to our Branch Managers and their teams.
• Actively coach and mentor branch leaders
• Lead employee engagement activities, actively seek feedback and own action items to support employee retention and communication.
• Champion a pay for performance culture
• Lead change management efforts throughout the organization.

Branch Operations

• Assess warehouse and delivery operations and develop strategies that support the most efficient footprint and customer delivery model.
• Define, communicate and establish accountability for KPI’s that measure and deliver results.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate on annual P&L budgets and regularly monitor progress.
• Review, assess and implement appropriate system tools to support the operations.
• Ensure accuracy and accountability for inventory control & warehouse layout.

Project Management

Lead and implement business projects.

Safety

In partnership with the HR team, lead and support a Safety Culture across the organization.

Here is what we are looking for...

Requirements :

• 10+ years management experience
• 5+ Years combined experience in Customer Service and Logistics / Warehouse
• 5+ Years of leading teams in a multi-site environment.
• Experience with financial budgeting and managing a P&L
• Project Management Experience
• Clean driving record
• Travel 70% to our Branch locations with some occasional overnight stays.

Preferred :

• Experience in a Lean Environment, leading Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Six Sigma Designation
• WMS implementation experience
• Strategic Planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite
• Effective communication and facilitation skills
• Leadership Skills
• Data Analysis & Problem Solving
• Ability to Influence and act with a high sense of urgency and prioritization.
