Position Summary :
As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in our warehouse operations by ensuring that orders are accurately filled and loaded for shipment.
Your attention to detail and efficiency will contribute to our overall success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Loading : Accurately load trucks with orders, verifying completeness and preventing damage.
- Preparation : Prepare carts for packaging and return them to their designated locations.
- Organization : Sort product inventory to maintain an efficient warehouse.
- Equipment operation : Operate departmental vehicles, including forklifts, as needed.
- Collaboration : Interact positively with vendors, customers, and coworkers.
Qualifications :
- Experience : Minimum of 2-4 years of shipping / warehouse experience.
- Skills : Ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, commitment to deadlines, and knowledge of safe work practices.
- Physical requirements : Ability to lift up to 50-75 pounds, bend, stoop, and stand / walk for extended periods.
- Certifications : Forklift and pallet jack certification will be provided.
Preferred Skills and Experience :
- Knowledge : Thorough understanding of material procedures, shipping procedures, and truck loading.
- Education : High school diploma or GED.
