Summary
The Maintenance Technician will work at Cape Air's Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Facility.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conformity inspections
- Aircraft modifications
- Read, understand, and apply blueprints and basic sheet metal repair criteria
- Work with or without established blueprints to drill, dimple, file, grind, trim, countersink, install aircraft structural assemblies and subassemblies, sand, paint, and seal
- Participate in department / base meetings, as required by Manager
- Conduct OJT with new hires, as assigned by Base Manager
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Ability to perform moderately strenuous physical tasks including bending, stooping, kneeling, and working overheadAbility to lift 70 lbs.Well-rounded knowledge of sheet metal tooling, equipment, materials, and processesGoal-oriented with exceptional attention to detail and teamwork skillsAircraft maintenance work experience requiredGeneral Aviation or twin Cessna work experience preferredA&P certification preferredMust embody Cape Air's MOCHA HAGoTDI spiritAdditional Details
