The Accounting Clerk is a key member of the Accounting & Finance Team whose role is to provide general assistance to the payroll and accounts payable functions of the Company.

Responsibilities

• Assists with electronic and physical filing of payroll and other accounting records.
• Maintains payroll and benefit information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
• Processes Accounts Payable invoices
• Manages EFT payments and AP Vendor Statements
• Monitors general accounting email inbox
• Provides general support by preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assists with the month-end closing process.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience in the accounting field through formal education, on-the-job training, or a combination thereof.
• Strong Excel skills (LOOKUP functions, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in hospitality a plus.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now a plus.
