Responsibilities
Facilities Engineer
COMPETENCY : Occupational competency is demonstrated by providing service which reflects current knowledge and technical expertise
Maintains current certification / licensure.
Demonstrates on-going competency in performance of technical skills.
Assesses self-learning needs and participates in educational programs as appropriate.
Maintains an individual profile that documents required education.
Seeks supervision and guidance from professional staff when problems, questions or change occur.
Complies with standards of the employee code of conduct and acknowledges the inherent responsibilities of being provided universal access (master keys).
SAFETY : Job responsibilities are completed / fulfilled in a manner which minimizes risk to self / others.
Demonstrates consistent use of Department / Administrative procedures.
Demonstrates proper body mechanics; takes appropriate action when tasks exceed personal capabilities
Identifies safety issues and takes appropriate action
Maintains clean and orderly work environment
PLANNING AND COORDINATION OF SERVICE : Service is coordinated and delivered in collaboration with client / patient / family and other healthcare team to maximize outcome and use of resources.
Prioritizes and completes delegated duties within appropriate timeframes.
Participates in interdisciplinary planning.
Recognizes and reports unmet needs.
COMMUNICATION / DOCUMENTATION : Written and verbal communications are accurately delivered and received in a timely, clear and appropriate manner so that customers have information to meet their needs.
Demonstrates appropriate communication skills
Completes documentation according to guidelines
Demonstrates awareness and compliance with staffing and scheduling policy and procedures
Qualifications
Education :
High School diploma or equivalent. Completed courses in apprenticeship program - journeyman engineer.
Experience :
Four years minimum experience. Knowledge of heating cooling and ventilation.

Licensure
Current valid applicable state driver’s license and a driving record that meets insurance carrier requirements. Electrical and refrigeration preferred.
Pay Range
USD $45.19 - USD $45.19 / Hr.
Working Conditions
Risk of prolonged exposure to increased outdoor temperatures Annual E required . Risk of exposure to blood and body fluids .
Must be able to lift push pull 40 60 pounds. Risk of exposure to hazardous airborne pathogens particles Annual N95 HMR Full Face fit testing and E required .
