Job Summary :
Duties include, but are not limited to, educating new and existing Environmental Services staff on all Upstate policies and procedures, providing hands-on initial training and retraining, providing monthly inspections of cleaners, logging and tracking of inspections, and reviews of areas and overall quality.
The Environmental Services Trainer will also conduct post hire interviews to be sure that the implemented training was retained and to gain feedback for improvement on the Environmental Services training program.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree and one year of relevant experience (preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting)OR Associates and 3 years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, plus excellent written / oral communication, organizational and customer service and computer skills required.
Supervisory experience required.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior experience in Environmental Services preferred. Prior experience with implementing atraining program preferred. Certification for CHESP / Chest preferred.
Work Days :
Monday-Friday 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm
