Summary

The PAU-Stanford PsyD Consortium Program Coordinator (CPC) plays a key role in the success of the program and its students.

The CPC is responsible for developing and improving the effectiveness of organizational processes and collaborates closely with the Consortium Director of Clinical Training (DCT), Psychology Department Manager, and other PAU departments regarding the execution of school processes and procedures.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Operations

  • Manage day-to-day relationship between PAU and Stanford faculty and staff to support them in following their institutional guidelines and agreements.
  • Independently manage, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the PsyD Consortium.
  • Develop, interpret and implement University policies, procedures, and resources for the students and faculty.
  • Manage content, update, and ensure the accuracy of student data in the University ERP system.
  • Manage students' academic careers through tracking progress toward graduation, monitoring of registration and grades, and program learning outcomes.
  • Work with the DCT and other University personnel to ensure program compliance with regional / APA accreditation standards and Department of Education regulations.
  • Recruit, hire, and manage student assistants as needed.
  • Provide program level support to the DCT and faculty during admissions season.
  • Manage practicum database to track graduate students seeking or participating in clinical training; develop and track training documents and work to resolve discrepancies.

Project Management

  • Plan, coordinate, and participate in organizational activities, events, and workshops.
  • Create and manage program external web pages.

Scheduling

  • Orchestrates comprehensive exams, including the development of exam schedules, student scheduling, proctoring, distribution of results, and maintaining & updating all exam records and data.
  • Develop PsyD course schedules and coordinate faculty scheduling with the Director of Clinical Training.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Three years of recent experience in a higher education environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in higher education and a sense of both the formal and informal policies and procedures relevant to the University, Division, Department, and Program.

The position requires a customer-focused personality, high energy, and ability to interact with students, faculty and staff community.

  • Demonstrated interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with diverse groups and situations with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to have discretion in handling sensitive information and compliance with FERPA regulations.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to develop effective collaborative relationships with students, faculty, administration and external groups.
  • Ability to reach out to and appreciate culturally diverse communities and individuals.
  • Ability to establish new procedures for faculty and office operations.
  • Ability and willingness to maintain confidentiality with student records and information.
  • Ability to utilize internet tools and search engines.
  • Possess tact, poise and diplomacy with a diverse population in a demanding environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Google Suite, Microsoft software applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.), Adobe, Jenzabar, DocuSign, and possess the ability to learn new computer and internet applications.
  • Access to reliable transportation for commuting between Calvin Campus, Mountain View Campus, and Stanford University during the workweek is essential.
