Job Description :

Apex is looking for a System Data Migration Analyst for a contract position with a top rated company.

This position is 100% WFH aside from traveling for a team building events.

Position must sit within 200 miles of Allen, TX, Springfield, MO, Lenexa, KS, Louisville, KY, or Cedar Falls, IA.

Project Overview :

This role is part of a multi-year process of migrating to Salesforce CRM. The initial phases include a data migration from Oracle Peoplesoft CRM to an early version of Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities :

The successful candidate will be a crucial resource in maintaining data integrity. They will analyze large sets of data to ensure it fits accurately, timely, and is formatted correctly for the downstream migration to Salesforce.

If discrepancies are found, they will escalate to technical teams to write scripts for resolution.

The types of fields to be analyzed include company information, customer information, contact information, product information, etc.

Skills and Qualifications :

The role requires executing data validation and execution scripts, tracking and maintaining documentation of findings, and providing support during data migration activities.

A background in Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Data validation, DDL / Databases (Oracle PeopleSoft CRM is a plus), and intermediate to advanced Excel skills are necessary.

Additional Requirements :

Experience with Mulesoft for data migration / feed is beneficial. A background as a DBA or Data Steward is likely suitable for this role.

Team Interaction :

The candidate will be working with a variety of technical teams and should be comfortable interacting and speaking their language.

They will be working directly under the Hiring Manager as a solo worker, not as part of a specific team or project resource.
