In this role, the Power Electronics Manufacturing Process Engineer will work with Product Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Digital Manufacturing Services, and Suppliers to successfully develop and launch next-generation power electronics products and processes.

Successful candidates will have a proven record of working with cross functional teams, including external partners, in the development and implementation of power electronics assemblies.

This role will have direct impact over the design and processing of power electronics assemblies in future Ford products.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Knowledge of manufacturing process related to power electronics manufacturing and testing (soldering, welding, .
  • Knowledge of electrified powertrain component function.
  • Prior experience working in ISO clean room environment manufacturing power electronics
  • Familiarization of ESD controls and measures for handling power electronics
  • Data driven mentality and decision-making process.
  • Application experience in computers and electronics.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to learn product function.
  • Handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to a dynamic working environment and diverse team.
  • Experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Mechanical and Controls Engineering aptitude.
  • Project management experience.
