Carolina Counseling Services is looking to contract with an enthusiastic, fully licensed, friendly, client-centered Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Psychologist (clinical) who is looking for an opportunity to work in a relaxed, welcoming, low stress environment.

Must be licensed in North Carolina.

LCMHC's will be considered if they meet Tricare Certified Mental Health Counselor Criteria, please see below for requirements

1. We are searching for a warm, caring therapists for full time open contracting positions to provide Behavioral Health (therapy) services to our clients in North Carolina.

Specifically, we are looking for therapists who work with children (5+) and their parents, teens, adults and couples.

2 . The prospective contractor must be independent, and be able to utilize computer / mobile technology with ease.

Carolina Counseling Services (CCS) contracts with therapists and provides a safe, confidential, peaceful atmosphere for our clients.

The hardest part is done FOR you - you can relax, see your clients, and do your notes.

• Working with CCS is a VERY enjoyable experience for the independent practitioner who loves clinical work!*
• Contract / Earnings Information : (Taxes, etc. are not paid to the Federal and State government because this is a contracting arrangement, contractors must make these arrangements on their own).

3 . For this primarily Tricare / BCBS contractor, $55 - $60 per 60 min session will be average "take home".*

Take home" amount is based on Insurance allowance, CPT code etc.

4. This position will offer the option of also seeing clients for Telemental Health Sessions from your own home office should you wish to do so.

You may also be provided with an office at one of our location as well.

TRICARE Certified Mental Health Counselor Requirements :

You must be able to certify that you meet one of the following

1. I am licensed for independent practice in mental health counseling by the jurisdiction where practicing.

I have a Master’s Degree (or higher) in a mental health counseling program of education and training accredited for Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Program(CACREP) accredited mental health counseling program.

I have passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE), or the National Counselor Examination(NCE).

I have a minimum of two years of post-master’s degree supervised mental health counseling practice that includes a minimum of 3,000 hours of supervised clinical practice and 100 hours of face-to-face supervision.

The supervision was provided by a mental health counselor who is licensed for independent practice in mental health counseling in the jurisdiction where practicing and was conducted in a manner consistent with guidelines of the American Mental Counselors Association (A1 IHCA).

2. I am licensed for independent practice in mental health counseling by the jurisdiction where practicing.

I have a Master’s Degree (or higher) in a mental health counseling program of education and training accredited for Mental Health Counseling or Clinical Mental Health Counseling from an educational institution accredited by a Regional Accrediting Organization recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

I have passed the National Clinical Mental Health Counselor Examination (NCMHCE).

I have a minimum of two years of post-master’s degree supervised mental health counseling practice that includes a minimum of3,000 hours of supervised clinical practice and 100 hours of face-to face supervision.

The supervision was provided by a mental health counselor who is licensed for independent practice in mental health counseling in the jurisdiction where practicing and was conducted in a manner consistent with guidelines of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (A1 .IHCA).
