The Harbert College of Business (HCOB) is migrating from an older Salesforce implementation to a new Salesforce Academic Architecture.
Students in this position will be required to complete FERPA training, which will be provided. Students in this position will be provided with base-level Salesforce training.
The project is expected to end approximately May 1, 2024.
Essential Functions The essential functions of this position include but are not limited to the following :
- Identify unused, frequently used, and critical objects (dashboards, reports, etc.).
- Resolve table and item name differences that interfere with the migration.
- Identify and design new objects.
- Perform quality assurance tasks that ensure automated processes are correct.
- Identify personally identifiable information (PII) that must be handled securely.
- Identify and clean erroneous data.
- Utilize online resources to create solutions to problems
Minimum Qualifications Currently enrolled as an Auburn University student.
Expectations :
Knowledgeable of relational database structures and be familiar with data types. Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Salesforce experience is a plus but not required.
- Good oral communication skills will also be desired.
