Job Summary
The Sr Director, Health Distribution Operations is a senior level position that helps ensure that the vision of our Health Brokerage organization is executed through projects and initiatives that meet key goals and objectives via effective and efficient management practices and the ability to shift between details and the bigger picture.
The role manages implementation of projects, conducts background research, analyzes information, and develops recommendations to inform leadership decisions for a wide range of opportunities that arise in a rapidly growing organization.
This position creates an effective cross-functional working environment so that business goals can be met. Responsible for dissemination of complex information utilizing exceptional written and verbal communications and is also responsible for interpreting and explaining policies and procedures and applying them to the resolution of complex issues.
The position provides support to the SVP, Health Distribution Operations in a variety of responsibilities. The position represents leadership to internal and external entities with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

- Partner with affiliates and enterprise resources to develop strategies to drive organic growth, focus on expense management and align with overall business priorities.
- Proactively work to uncover interdependencies within the broader organization.
- Maintain relationships with enterprise affiliates and resources to ensure project success.
- Serve as a critical conduit between affiliates and enterprise resources.
- Strong understanding of stakeholder needs while providing the relevant insight and research to steer the overarching strategic roadmap.
- Gather data, organize information, analyze historical results, and formulate projections to inform recommendations.
- Maintain and apply a broad understanding of financial management principles to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.
- Lead teams and steer development and execution of strategic cross-functional initiatives, helping track metrics to measure initiatives’ performance and progress towards strategic goals.
- Track and report on progress, success, and blockers to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Assist with creation and management of short- and long-term roadmaps.
- May or may not have direct reporting relationships.
- Responsible for mentoring junior staff.
- Other duties as assigned by Distribution leaders.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field; MBA or Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.
- 3+ years’ experience in the industry, consulting or business strategy; leadership or management experience is preferred.
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams and coordinate complex projects.
- Analytic, curious thinker with demonstrated excellence in critical thinking and problem-solving tasks.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to lead successful execution of cross-functional initiatives and coordinate complex projects.
- Inherently talented at handling multiple, changing priorities and competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience running initiatives with a heavy analytical component.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders in various functions and levels including senior executives.
- Driven by intellectual curiosity and independent thinking, with demonstrated ability to ramp up quickly in new areas.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Team-player mindset and willingness to collaborate.
- Empowered individual who can act independently when necessary.
- Entrepreneurial approach to owning responsibilities with strong accountability to delivering outcomes.
- High proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint is expected.
- Experience with Tableau, SmartSheet, Jira is preferred but not required.
