Our client is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to play a pivotal role in shaping their HR landscape and driving our mission to deliver life-changing medicine to the public and hospitals across the nation.
Essential Functions :
- Conduct bi-weekly orientation and onboarding, ensuring alignment with company values, and attracting top talent.
- Support employee development initiatives by coordinating training programs and opportunities for skill enhancement.
- Collaborate with and provide guidance to employees and managers and cross-functional teams on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
- Implement performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback.
- Lead employee engagement efforts by organizing events, surveys, and initiatives that promote a positive workplace.
- Maintain accurate HR records and files, keeping abreast of compliance requirements and best practices.
- Assist with Workers Compensation management.
- Stay informed about industry trends and evolving HR regulations to ensure our practices remain current and effective.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Experience & Necessary Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- years of proven experience in HR roles, with at least years in a Generalist capacity.
- Solid understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Experience with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Professional certifications, such as PHR or SHRM-CP, are highly desirable.
